Southern Yorke Peninsula Photographic Exhibition Returns to Port Vincent in Time for October Long Weekend
If you’re soaking up the October long weekend vibes on the Yorke Peninsula, here’s another stop worth adding to the list.
The Southern Yorke Peninsula Photographic Exhibition is back at the Port Vincent Institute from Saturday, October 3 to Monday, October 5, showcasing some seriously impressive work from photographers across the region.
The exhibition brings together a huge mix of photography, from spectacular Yorke Peninsula landscapes and wildlife to macro, monochrome, aerial, abstract and creative digital works.

And considering the Southern Yorke Peninsula serves up some pretty spectacular subject matter, there should be plenty worth stopping to take a closer look at.
The exhibition is also a chance to see the region through the eyes of the people who know it well, while discovering the talent behind the lens in local communities.
Many of the photographs will be available to purchase, so if something catches your eye, you may even be able to take a piece of photographic art home with you.
Whether you know your aperture from your ISO, love a good landscape shot, or simply want something different to do between long-weekend adventures, everyone is welcome.
Entry is free, making it an easy addition to a day exploring Port Vincent and the Southern Yorke Peninsula.
