Marion Bay, Corny Point, Edithburgh and Stansbury communities invited to help shape what’s next

Marion Bay, Corny Point, Edithburgh and Stansbury are much-loved Yorke Peninsula towns that locals call home, and many others hold close to their hearts. Now’s the time to have your say about what happens next.

Yorke Peninsula Council, in partnership with Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North, is rolling out Township Activation Plans to shape the future of these communities. This is about people power and listening to voices, setting priorities, and making sure the projects that matter most are front and centre.

And with the current algal bloom crisis hitting YP communities hard, it’s never been more important to speak up.

Public planning sessions will run across the four towns, but if you can’t make it, your voice can still be heard. Fill in the survey and make sure your ideas are counted. Every response will help Council prepare for future projects and improve the chances of landing funding to get them off the ground.
