Shop, Dine, and Play at Moonta’s Pop-Up Pedestrian Mall

Melissa Smith

Alfresco Dining, Live Music, and Family Fun in the Historic Heart of Moonta

The upcoming Copper Coast FLAME Festival is heating up and Moonta will be the centre of the action on Sunday, May 26 with the historic town transforming its shopping district into a vibrant pop-up pedestrian mall.

Shop, Eat and Relax

Browse unique boutiques and shops amongst the stunning historic buildings at the Copper Coast’s favourite weekend shopping destination. Enjoy alfresco dining for breakfast or lunch, and sip on some tasty local brews during the afternoon to unwind. With live music filling the air, it sets the perfect scene for a relaxing Sunday.

Fun for All Ages

Keep the kids entertained and let them loose in the “chalk and bubble alley” for some Sunday arvo fun. Or, just around the corner, the Moonta Town Hall has another free event, The Funhouse Zone. This exciting zone features face painting, arts and crafts, and a giant Bubble House that everyone will love. There’s even a dedicated Tiny Tots area for the littlest ones to explore.

Bust a Move

If you fancy hitting the dance floor, you can’t miss the free Kids Dance Workshop with Krank It Dance. Led by director Kayla Perry, this workshop is a chance to groove, move, and express yourself through dance. Plus parents can join in for a family dance party.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the best of Moonta.
