154 years young and Copper Coast Show is still a crowd-puller
Copper Coast Show is back this weekend with two jam-packed days of country charm, big attractions, and just the right amount of sauce on your Dagwood dog!
From the thundering hooves of showjumping to the steady hands of shearers and the quick wits of sheep dogs, the main arena will be busy all weekend. You’ll find vintage tractors, emergency service vehicles, and even the chance to pick up a new hobby from a host of local clubs.
The animal nursery will melt your heart with piglets, calves, and fluffy chicks, while the Poultry Pavilion, Sheep & Wool displays, and horse carriage rides tick all the country show boxes.
Kids can follow the Discovery Trail, meet life-sized Dinkum Dinosaurs, and dive into the Kids Zone with rides, sideshows, games, and activities. There’s also face painting, hair braiding, paper plane contests, boot tossing, and the highly anticipated caravan backing challenge (now that could be highly entertaining).
Inside the Exhibition Hall you’ll find flowers, baking, art, photography, and the Kadina Carpet Court Portrait Prize – don’t forget to vote for People’s Choice. Scarecrows will be on display, hobby horse races will get the kids galloping, and the inaugural Patrons’ Challenge kicks off on Saturday at 11am.
When it’s time to refuel, the Food Court will be sizzling with food trucks and local stalls, CWA will serve homemade soup and scones, and the All Access Café & Bar will keep you refreshed with arena views.
With live music, market stalls, chainsaw carving, wool spinning, and more than enough to fill your day (and your showbag), the Copper Coast Show is proof that country shows aren’t just surviving – they’re thriving.
