One hundred stalls, every month – Angaston Country Market has it all

Angaston, in the heart of the picturesque Barossa Valley, boasts a monthly Country Market that has become a must-visit for families and market-lovers

With an impressive lineup of over 100 stalls, this market offers a huge array of goods making it an ideal day out for everyone.

At the helm of this bustling market is Amanda Kay, a passionate coordinator who skillfully manages the market, bringing together a unique and eclectic mix of stalls. From fresh fruits and veggies to plants, jewellery, vintage tools, and more, Angaston Country Market caters to every taste.

One of the highlights of the market is Anna’s Art. An Art teacher by day, who loves to create at night, Anna showcases her stunning resin creations, from trinkets to cheese platter sets. Always a popular stall, Anna’s resin art is perfect for a unique gift or a little treat for yourself!

Something to entice the fellas – The Vintage Tools stall offers a collection of lovingly restored hand tools and garden equipment. Cleaned up and sharpened, the ultimate recycler brings life back to discarded tools which are also vintage collectables.

You’ll find luxurious natural skincare at Angaston too. Karku Natural Skincare provides locally crafted products made from quality native ingredients. And if you’re in the mood for a hair makeover, Upstyle Hair, Lash and Beauty, run by a talented teen, offers colourful braiding for long-haired lassies with a side serve of stylish accessories.

New on the scene is Jaroma Tea, a delightful addition for tea lovers, providing not only delicious blends but also herbal infusions loaded with health benefits. You can even explore their world further through their recently published book, available on Amazon.

As you explore the market, you won’t go hungry, thanks to the delicious offerings from food vans like the Yiros Hub. This Greek family, with over 20 years of experience, serves up authentic Greek street food, including Yiros on a spit, Souvlaki, and vegetarian options.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music sets the mood for market-goers, and a regular coffee van ensures you stay well-caffeinated. The People vs Coffee sources the finest Barossa local ingredients, offering sustainably packaged treats to enjoy while perusing the stalls.

The Angaston Country Market provides a platform for local artisans, growers, entrepreneurs, and food vendors to showcase their talents and wares. Whether you’re a regular visitor or a first-timer, the market promises a fun day, discovering what the Barossa has on offer, filled with delicious bites, and a celebration of all things local.
