Three Country Football Clubs Across South Australia Will Host AFL and AFLW Players Through Bunge’s Country Connect Program
Future AFL stars, footy-mad kids and long-suffering Port supporters are all getting a chance to rub shoulders with Adelaide Crows players this season, with three regional South Australian clubs hosting free junior footy clinics through the Bunge Country Connect program.
The initiative will roll through the Eyre Peninsula, Riverland and Mid North across May and June, combining local match day support, club events and free junior football clinics for kids aged 5 to 15.
The program is returning for another year through a partnership between Bunge and Adelaide Football Club, with past and present players travelling to regional clubs to connect with local communities.
Country Footy Clubs Get The Crows Treatment
This year’s Country Connect events will be held at:
- Eyre United Football Club on May 23 and 24
- Loxton North Football Club on May 30 and 31
- Blyth-Snowtown Football Club on June 13 and 14
Each weekend follows a similar format, with Crows players joining in local match day activities on the Saturday before taking part in a Front Bar-style club event that evening.
The free junior footy clinics will then run on the Sunday mornings, hosted by the Crows Community team with support from players and Bunge staff.
Clinic participants will also receive four complimentary tickets to use at Adelaide Crows home games during the 2026 AFL season.
Bunge says the program is aimed at supporting the regional communities where many of its employees and customers live and work, while also encouraging the next generation of AFL and AFLW players.
Registrations for the junior clinics are now open through the Bunge Australia website.
