A Free, Family-Friendly Festival Packed with Art, Music, and Heart
Love gets a creative twist at Victor Harbor this Valentine’s Day as the Victor Harbor Artisan Market brings the Fringe to Warland Reserve.
With support from the South Australian Tourism Commission’s Algal Bloom Event Support Fund, the beloved artisan market has the space to go big and bold, and linger a little longer by the sea.
More than 70 artisan stalls will line the reserve, alongside live music, roaming performers, interactive art, creative workshops, kids activities, and a delicious line up of food vans. To wash it all down, there’ll be three artisan bars pouring Langhorne Creek wines, spirits from Heaps Good Spirits, and beers from Beer No Evil.
One of the standout features of the day is the Queen of Wands Psychic Fair, which is celebrating its sixth birthday. Known for drawing crowds wherever it pops up, Queen of Wands brings together more than 20 readers, mediums, tarot readers, astrologers, and spiritual practitioners to join the Artisan Market ranks! It’s curiosity with a dash of fun, and perfect for anyone who likes a wander and a wonder.
At the heart of the festival is a community-led project called Hearts for Humanity. Locals and visitors are encouraged to make a heart in any form they like. Painted, knitted, grown or built, including a message of love or hope. On the day, those hearts will form a ‘Tunnel of Love’, with messages shared from the stage throughout the event.
Anyone keen to get involved in Hearts for Humanity, whether making a heart or lending a hand, can find details via the Victor Harbor Artisan Market socials.
