Find gifts for everyone at Saddleworth’s Christmas Market

On Sunday, November 3, the tiny town of Saddleworth in the Gilbert Valley will transform into a festive shopper’s paradise with over 180 stalls at the “Monster Saddleworth Country Christmas Shopping Market.”

If you want to tick off your Christmas list, this is the perfect stop. It’s also the ideal way to kick off our Harvesting Hope Campaign, which supports small regional businesses this Christmas Season!

You’ll find a tonne of handcrafted goods, from fresh flowers and funky garden art to antiques, unique repurposed items, and holiday-themed homewares. Specialty food stalls will be serving up everything from Turkish treats and stuffed potatoes to vegan eats, farm-fresh veggies, and baked goods galore. And who can resist a legendary Lions Club donut?

For those with a sweet tooth, K D Confectionery and Farmhouse Cookie Co. have your holiday sugar fix sorted, with cookies and confectionery that make great stocking stuffers.

Handmade items by talented artisans are scattered throughout the market including beautiful wooden toys from B & D Handmade, recycled bags from Jack Rabbit and Friends, and even a range of upcycled clothing crafted from tablecloths and blankets. Succulent and plant stalls will be in full bloom, offering everything from greenery to decor that makes perfect gifts. For bookworms, local author Portia Stanton Noble will be showcasing her popular series. Plus, you can cuddle a goat, get a henna tattoo, and bust a move to live music from resident entertainer Merran Riddle!

The Saddleworth Market also loves to champion young local talent, with passionate entrepreneurs like Braxton, who crafts colourful scrunchies, and Laura, with handmade bracelets and earrings. Joining them is Indiana, who began braiding hair at the market at age 14. Now 16, Indiana has turned her braiding business into such a success that she recently bought herself a brand-new car!
