The Sweet Old Lady and the Murderer Mother
Do you love true crime? Well, buckle up, because we’ve got an event that’ll have you locking your doors twice!
Coming to Clare this October is none other than Stephen Pallaras, KC. With a resume that includes SA Director of Public Prosecutions, Defense Counsel, Prosecutor, and Supreme Court Judge, Stephen has pretty much done it all in the world of criminal law.
As the head of the Extraditions Unit in Hong Kong, Stephen played a key role in bringing down some of the world’s biggest drug kingpins. In one year alone, he prosecuted 11 murder cases. With an undefeated record in major cases and a victory against the famous F. Lee Bailey in the USA, Stephen is one of Australia’s most experienced criminal lawyers. And now, he’s bringing his stories to Clare.
Following sell-out evenings telling the tales from, “A Life of Crime,” Stephen is back with a new true-crime presentation, “The Sweet Old Lady and the Murderer Mother.” This time, he’ll delve into the chilling details of a horrific Adelaide murder case – the evidence, the lies, and how the murderer was caught! Expect to hear the word “bizarre” more times than you can count as Stephen pulls back the curtain on the strange, dark corners of our society.
Stephen will be joined by MC and author Jaynie Morris, who’ll help ensure your burning questions get answered. This event is a must for true-crime lovers and anyone curious about the criminal justice system – and trust me, you’ll leave asking, “Who is my neighbour?”
