Mount Gambier transforms into a world of knights, dungeons and dragons
The award-winning Fantasy Medieval Fair is back at the Mount Gambier Showgrounds on April 13 and 14.
Enter the gates and be greeted by a bustling marketplace. Watch blacksmiths forge metal as artisans showcase their wares from leather goods to jewellery. Watch the colourful maypole dancers weave their ribbons while the delicious aroma of a Viking feast fills the air.
This two-day spectacular includes historical reenactments, thrilling combat displays, puppet shows and live music plus photo opportunities including armour dress-ups. Learn about medieval life firsthand, test your archery skills, or try your hand at a game of Dungeons & Dragons. If that’s not your style you can relax with an ale at the tavern and soak up the atmosphere.
Costumes are encouraged, so let your imagination run wild – medieval or fantastical creations, the choice is yours.
