Get Your Vintage Fix at Martindale Hall
Strap in for a blast from the past this October at the Antique Fair and Roadshow at the gorgeous Martindale Hall just outside Mintaro in the Clare Valley. This event is part of Mintaro’s 175th birthday bash and is bound to be a highlight of the year.
The sprawling lawns of Martindale Hall will be transformed into a bustling marketplace where 16 South Australian regional antique dealers are offering up everything from jewellery, clothing and ceramics to funky retro finds, object d’art and one-of-a-kind collectables. With individual item prices capped at $200 it’s the perfect chance to score some affordable vintage treasures or simply soak in the nostalgia.
Get Your Treasures Appraised
Got a hidden gem sitting at home that you’re curious about? You can apply for an appraisal by antique experts by sending a photo and your details to this link. David Kabbani and his team from Small and Whitfield will be able to tell you if that old family heirloom is worth a fortune!
Food trucks and drinks will be on hand to keep you fuelled up while you browse, including a delicious barbeque by Clare Rotary. The Lions Club of Gilbert Valley will be pumping out hot donuts and you can wash it all down with a cuppa from Red Hot Shot Coffee Van.
While there, don’t miss the opportunity to join a guided tour of Martindale Hall and discover the amazing treasures and stories of this incredible estate.
This is the first time an event like this is being held on the stunning grounds of Martindale Hall and hopefully won’t be the last.
Entry to the fair is a gold coin donation, with all proceeds supporting the Mintaro Progress Association.
