Stansbury takes Gold as South Australia’s top caravan parks are revealed
Dust off the camping gear and start plotting your next road trip, because some of South Australia’s favourite caravan parks have another reason to brag.
The 2026 SA Parks ReviewPro Awards have been handed out, recognising the parks earning top marks from their guests, as well as those making the biggest improvements.
And this year, country SA has plenty to celebrate.
Stansbury Goes From Silver To Gold
Leading the pack this year is Stansbury Foreshore Caravan Park, which has taken Gold as the Highest Ranking Park in South Australia.
The awards use ReviewPro’s Global Review Index, drawing on online guest reviews to rank parks based on their reputation and guest satisfaction.
And for Stansbury, the latest Gold tops off a stellar 12 months.
The Yorke Peninsula park took Silver in the inaugural SA Parks awards in 2025, behind Whyalla Caravan & Tourist Park, before stepping onto an even bigger stage earlier this year.
In May, Stansbury took Silver in the national ReviewPro Reputation People’s Choice Caravan Park of the Year Awards, placing it among Australia’s best.
Now it has gone one better at home, climbing from SA Silver to Gold in 2026.
Stansbury wasn’t the only country park earning top marks, with Minlaton Caravan Park and Laura Caravan Park both awarded Silver in the Highest Ranking Park in SA category.
Port Pirie Picks Up Gold
There was more country success in the Most Improved Park in SA awards, with Echo Holiday Parks Port Pirie taking out the win.
BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park at Tailem Bend picked up Silver, while Brownhill Creek Caravan Park in Adelaide received Bronze.
From seaside stays on Yorke Peninsula to the Mid North and Murraylands, this year’s winners give travellers a few more spots to add to the road-trip list.
So hook up the van, or pack the tent and hit the road. South Australia’s happy campers have spoken.
