New scholarship empowering Mid North women

Abbie Tiller

A Hot Desk PLUS 12 months mentorship provided by new StartHer Scholarship

A group of go-getters from the Mid North have teamed up to launch a brand new scholarship opportunity to empower regional women in business.

The StartHer Scholarship will provide one deserving woman in business with a 12-month membership to a permanent Hot Desk at Gleeson Collective, a vibrant collaborative workspace in the heart of Clare, as well as one year of valuable mentorship from inspiring entrepreneurs including, Kelly from Kelly Kelly Legal, Cassie, from Gleeson Collective and media and marketing expert, Tim from Clare Media.

An amazing opportunity to grow and succeed while learning from some of the best in their field – the scholarship is part of Gleeson Collective’s ongoing commitment to help regional women flourish in their professional endeavours.

The creator behind Gleeson Collective, Cassie Fuller, transformed Clare’s old Gleeson Street printmaker’s cottage into an 8-office workspace, with a host of shared space Hot Desks, a board room, meeting room and communal kitchen, which hosts a fabulous network of entrepreneurs.

Cassie mixes her work at Gleeson Collective with farm life and her career as a professional Draftsperson and Valuer.

“We are excited to introduce this scholarship and look forward to seeing the impact it will have on our community,” she said.

Having started her own business in the region, Kelly, Director and Principal Solicitor at Kelly Kelly Legal, understands the barriers women can face when pursing their entrepreneurial opportunities.

“We are thrilled to sponsor the StartHer scholarship at Gleeson Collective and look forward to providing meaningful financial, legal and other support to the recipient and seeing their business thrive”.
