Broken Hill is rolling out a dazzling welcome before thousands descend on the Mundi Mundi Bash

But before the guitars start strumming and the dust starts flying, Broken Hill is putting on a spectacular welcome of its own.
A drone show under outback skies
Introducing Mundi Lights – a brand-new, three-night festival that will transform Argent Street into a pedestrian-only playground of light, music and entertainment from August 15 to 17.
Forget the legendary Min Min Lights… these are Mundi Lights.
As darkness falls between 6pm and 9pm, hundreds of drones will take to the star-filled outback sky in the first large-scale drone spectacular ever staged in Far West NSW. Even the rehearsal flights have had locals scratching their heads and spinning conspiracy theories about what was floating overhead.
The dazzling aerial displays, created by Elite Drone Shows – the team behind Australia’s record-breaking drone spectacles and Sydney’s Australia Day celebrations – will be joined by walk-through light installations, live music, street performers and plenty of great food.
Three nights of entertainment
Each night will feature a different lineup of entertainment, including Jamie Lindsey & Badass Wranglers, The Figs, Tom Busby, Zkye and the Guys, plus DJ sets to keep the atmosphere buzzing.
Whether you’re heading to the Bash or simply looking for another excuse to visit Broken Hill, Mundi Lights adds another unforgettable experience to an already incredible week in the outback.
