Knappstein Wines and Nyowee Poll Merino invite you to a Fire and Feast Long Lunch – a celebration of fine food, wine, and tradition set in the historic Goodonga shearing shed just over the hill from Auburn.
This special Sunday event combines some of Clare Valley’s finest elements, blending the robust flavours of local lamb with the vibrant tastes of Italian cuisine. A long table laden with an array of Italian-inspired delicacies, including slow-cooked lamb prepared over fire will be the centrepiece of the event. Watervale Hotel is celebrating the Lamb Festival with a foodie experience like no other. The Spring Equinox Penobscot Farm Tour and Degustation Lunch takes guests on an educational an interactive tour of Watervale’s world famous Penobscot Farm. Regenerative Farmer and Watervale lamb grower, Cameron Bond will be on hand to discuss the best agricultural practises in growing nutrient rich lamb.
Hotel owner and 2022 SA Chef of the Year, Nicola Palmer will present a five course lunch, matched with Italian wine varieties grown in the Clare Valley or a mocktail match, built on Warned indigenous teas and Penobscot Farm juices, syrups, vinegars and garnishes.
