Camp Out for a Cause at Callington
Join the free “We Care Cally Camp Out” for a night of fun under the stars at Callington east of the Adelaide Hills.
This special event, proudly sponsored by Australian Portable Camps (APC), takes place on Friday, June 21 and is a night dedicated to raising money for those experiencing homelessness and families in need.
All-round funny guy, Stunt Juggler Scoot will be the Master of Ceremonies for an entertaining night of family fun. Bust a move to some live music by local Callington band Midnight Radio and one-man band Coombsy. You’ll be able to witness the sizzling skills of Sparky, the fire performer and have a crack at conquering the mechanical bull ride. Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics will light up the night sky with a fireworks display and make sure to stock up on some raffle tickets with jaw-dropping prizes.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase, and there’s even a breakfast option for Saturday morning to refuel after all the fun.
At the heart of this event is helping those in need and raising money for organisations that support homelessness. Catherine House is a charity that supports homeless women and adding to the fundraising efforts is holding an online auction with incredible items up for grabs.
So bring your friends, a tent or camper, chuck in a deckchair, and get ready to enjoy free festivities for a great cause.
