Dance enthusiasts and supporters of the arts, get ready to tap your feet and celebrate because Clare Valley School of Dance (CVSD) is gearing up for a show-stopping performance at the Barossa Arts Centre this Sunday, November 26.

With the aim of filling the house to cheer on the incredible talent of the CVSD crew, this year they’ve thrown open its doors to the entire community to come and watch the students light up the stage with a show about life’s celebrations. From the little ones in Twirl and Bounce to the seasoned performers in the Open category, everyone will be dancing their hearts out.

But at the heart of it all, is Miss Kate Mensforth. Kate is the passionate owner of this local family business and with over 25 years of dance experience, ‘Miss Kate’ leads a team of qualified and dynamic instructors who cover everything from Classical Ballet to Jazz, Contemporary, and Acro Dance.

Teaching and inspiring over 300 students, from as far north as Booleroo Centre and as far south as Saddleworth and Pt Wakefield, CVSD is on a mission to bring top-notch performing arts opportunities to the kids in Mid North South Australia that can rival, if not surpass, those in the big smoke. The well-respected dance school not only teaches a swag of students but also provides mentorship to young, up-and-coming dance teachers.

Besides leading the way for dance and arts in the country, the dedicated CVSD community also prides itself on not being just about dance; it’s about community, mentorship, and encouraging a love for the arts as well as building lifelong friendships while learning the power of teamwork.
