Eudunda youngsters are getting their skates on, to celebrate the official opening of the town’s new $600,000 Skate Park.

Goyder Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) welcomes everyone to bring their skateboard, scooter or bike, and head to the exciting new Skate Park on Saturday February 3, where Build Up Skateboarding will provide free workshops and adrenaline-pumping demonstrations throughout the day, and there’ll be some awesome prizes up for grabs.

The Skate Park project was identified in the Regional Council of Goyder Master Plan 2022-2037, and the local community’s vision for a safe an inclusive space for children and young people has now become reality.

Driven by Goyder YAC, the unique multi-faceted facility is suitable for all skill levels, with plenty of opportunity for long runs and loads of tricks. The design includes a shelter, BBQ, seating, and drink fountain. Elements of blue concrete provide an
acknowledgement to mental health as well as the Eudunda Cowie Spring.
