Get ready for a donut experience like no other, fresh from Tanunda’s finest fryer

Some people find their calling in a boardroom, but for Rachel and Dave Brown, they found their destiny in a deep fryer.

Having moved into a rental property over seven years ago, they never expected their kitchen would come with an industrial-sized surprise. Confronted with what to do with the massive fryer, weekend experiments quickly spiraled into a full-blown donut obsession. Two years and countless failed batches later, the Browns finally cracked the code for the perfect treat, exploding into a donut empire, with their store, Brown’s Barossa Donuts, now reigning supreme on Tanunda’s Murray Street.

Serving up handmade brioche donuts, their lineup is stacked with crowd-favourites like Nutella, Biscoff Cheesecake, Eton Mess, and Pistachio Papi Cheesecake – each one made from scratch with top-quality, locally sourced ingredients. They’re so good, you won’t mind lining up for these sweet treats!

Now, they’ve released their latest masterpiece – the Dulce de Leche Choc Éclair Donut. This decadent delight of dulce de leche whipped cream, silky French chocolate ganache, and crispy Callebaut pearls is wrapped in a golden, buttery brioche. If this doesn’t make your day, nothing will.
