Saddle up for the sizzling second edition of Murray Bridge’s Country By The River Music Festival – set to have heels kicking on the riverbank on Saturday, October 14.
Some of Australia’s finest country artists have been rounded up for the big ticket event, including Tazzie boys, The Wolfe Brothers, fresh from their Aria Award nomination, for their album Livin’ The Dream.
Another fan-favourite in the line-up of legendary country performers is Travis Collins, on his ‘Any Less Anymore’ National Tour. No doubt the country-loving crowd will be anticipating a duel performance of his current number one Kix Country hit, Runnin’ The Country, featuring partners in crime, The Wolfe Brothers.
A celebration of the Nation’s top and up-and-coming country musicians – the family-friendly event features some of the biggest names in the Australian music scene, including the Sunny Cowgirls, Jayne Denham, The Pleasures (Catherine Britt & Lachlan Bryan), Christie Lamb, Adam Ludewig, Michael Ward and South Aussie singing and songwriting sisters, Ella And Sienna.
As well as a stellar line-up of music, you can treat your taste buds to some of South Australia’s best food trucks as well as a slew of beers, wines, spirits, and cider from award-winning local breweries.
But that’s not all! If you fancy yourself a bit of Boot Scootin’, ‘Lonely Boot Creations’ will be running one-hour workshops at Sturt Reserve from 1-2pm on both Saturday and Sunday . Perfect for beginners, you’ll master some line-dancing classics, with straightforward moves set to some of the hottest country music. It’s your ticket to a true country music experience, so pull on your boots and get ready to carve up the dance floor!
