SALIFE Awards 2024 recognise the cream of the crop

From Olympic legends to the state’s most splendid gardens and classiest restaurants, a huge line-up of talented regional South Aussies have made the shortlist in the prestigious SALIFE Awards for 2024.

Nominated by the public, each year the awards recognise worthy South Australian people, places, and business for 14 individual award categories.

Shortlisted finalists will be assessed by a panel of judges including Paul Vasileff, Founder and Creative Director of Paulo Sebastian, last year’s SALIFE Person of the Year winner, Heather Croall AM, Director and CEO of Adelaide Fringe, and Andrea Heading, CEO of the Real Estate Institute SA.

Category winners will be announced at the Gala Awards at Piccadilly Theatre on December 4.

Joining the finalists for the coveted SALIFE Person of the Year are three regional South Aussies with remarkable success stories, including Port Lincoln’s 9 times Olympic Medalist and World Record holder Kyle Chalmers, Barossa Valley gourmet Queen Maggie Beer, and Indigenous Poet and one of Australia’s greatest writers, Ali Eckermann, who grew up on Ngadjuri country between Blyth and Brinkworth in the Mid North.
