Aussie music royalty among the music legends playing at Streaky Sounds
The Eyre Peninsula is about to get loud! Streaky Sounds Music Festival is back for round three, and this time, Aussie music royalty The Cat Empire is headlining, bringing their high-energy fusion of funk, jazz, and pure feel-good vibes to Streaky Bay on March 9.
This isn’t just a gig – it’s an epic seaside celebration, packed with some of the best live music Australia has to offer. Joining the party is The Tullamarines, the Adelaide indie-rock powerhouse turning heads with their latest hit, OMG. Throw in the heavy-hitting Audio Reign, festival favourites Chicken Salt, and nostalgia-fueled cover band Revel, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a lineup.
And let’s not forget the homegrown heroes! Laminated Kitchen (formerly known as Limited Addiction), The Wot Band, Alice Haddy, and DJ Taijyyy will be flying the flag for the Eyre Peninsula, keeping the local vibes strong.
But it’s not just about the music – Streaky Sounds is an experience. Think fresh seafood from FishFix, next-level pizzas from Pizza4Shore, Thai street food from Tip Thai, and a fully stocked bar pouring local gin from Streaky Bay Distillers.
And for families? The kids’ entertainment zone means they’ll be too busy bouncing, climbing the rock wall, and soaking up the fun to ask you for another $10.
With one of the planet’s most exquisite coast lines to explore, world-class music on stage, and a cold drink in hand, this is the summer festival you don’t want to miss.
