The West Dishes Up The Best this March Long-Weekend At Streaky Sounds

Live music, salty air and a bloody good crowd – Streaky Sounds is back this March long-weekend.

A much-loved fixture on the regional calendar, the Streaky Bay Oval will be pumping with a massive line-up of popular artists, fabulous food and family-friendly fun.

Streaky Sounds balances big national acts and emerging local artists.

A Cracking Lineup for the Coast

Headlining the festival, Indie-rock heavyweights, The Rubens, will bring their chart-topping hits and massive live energy. They’ll be backed by a strong mix of national and homegrown talent. Popular top end musicians the Hunt Brothers will be there, as well as Dojo Rise, Sunday Lemonade, RipCord and Funk Me. Festival favourite Henry Smale will bring the good vibes, along with local acoustic legend, Bonkers. Closing out the night in style will be The Potbelleez, delivering a high-energy DJ set finale packed with dance floor anthems.

Alongside 12 hours of live music, festival goers can expect local food vans, bar service, free kids’ activities as well as on-site camping. Streaky Bay artist Lily Legovini will also be there to capture the colour and movement of the festival and the local community.

Drought Relief Funding Ups the Festival Ante

Coming off last year’s award winning event, 2026 is expected to be one of the most vibrant and diverse editions of Streaky Sounds, thanks to welcome Drought Relief Regional Event funding.

District Council of Streaky Bay Mayor, Travis Barber, said the funding would support several aspects of the festival, including free children’s entertainment, investment in local artists, and improvements to festival infrastructure, making the event more inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.

“Streaky Sounds has become a real highlight on our regional calendar, bringing locals and visitors together through live music, culture, and community pride,” he said.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Streaky Bay Oval for what will be our biggest year yet.”

Tickets are on sale now, and if previous years are anything to go by, this one will be well wroth a trip to the west.
