The distillery’s Vodka is the “house pour” at the local pub – the Dalrymple Hotel, where there are also plans in place for a Tasting Room, offering Lost Tide Spirits complemented by picturesque views over the stunning Oyster Bay.
In the mix of Gins is the Classic Dry Gin, Lemon Myrtle Gin, and Big Thyme Gin. Each drop boasts distinctive flavours, from bold aromatics of native lemon myrtle to prominent notes of Australian native thyme and bush basil.
In addition to their core spirits, the couple has introduced a range of liqueurs, including a unique Coffee Liqueur made from Queensland-grown peaberry coffee beans. Another standout is the Salted Caramel Liqueur, infused with Spencer Gulf sea salt, offering a delectable dessert liqueur or a daring shot experience.
A highlight is the Dirty Espresso Martini, a collaboration between a skilled barista and distiller. The Chai Spiced Liqueur is an aromatic blend of cardamom, cinnamon, and spice, creating an unparalleled cocktail experience.
The Lost Tide range is also a welcome addition to Dalrymple Hotel’s “Dalstillery”, with many of the offerings featured on the pub’s cocktail menu.
Keira, who also works as the Restaurant Manager at the award-winning pub, said the support from both the Hotel and the Stansbury community had been amazing, and she looked forward to taking part in the town’s popular Seaside Markets throughout Summer.
And in case you’re wondering the story behind the label, Lost Tide Spirit Co. pays homage to Stansbury’s distinctive “dodge” tides—a phenomenon occurring twice a month, resulting in a day-long period of slack water. It’s during these moments that the couple believes a gin and tonic, or a crafted cocktail is the perfect companion.
