Copper Coast hosts SA’s first Sand Drag event
This weekend, it’s another South Aussie first, as the Copper Coast Sand Drags roar into life at Wallaroo.
Whether you want to put your own wheels to the test or you just love a bit of rev head action, this unique event welcomes wheels of any kind, from motorbikes to Utes, cars and even the souped up old paddock basher.
A family-friendly event, Copper Coast Motorsport Park will be buzzing with action and bursting with good old fashioned country food from local vendors and community groups.
A $70,000 Nitro Bike all the way from Western Australia will get heads turning quickly, but don’t despair, despite competitors coming from interstate, there’s no experience required to enter, it’s just you, your trusted wheels and a 150 metre sandy strip of opportunity.
Kids from just five-years-old can enter the two-day event. You can take the family and camp on-site from just $5 per person, or take the opportunity to enjoy the spoils of the stunning Copper Coast.
When the vehicles are parked up on Saturday night, the party vibe will start with live band, Genetic Mutation.
