Boots, hats, and a whole lot of country fun at Clare Rodeo
Pull on your boots (don’t bother dusting them off) and gather your mates this Saturday for the Clare Rodeo.
Dust will fly high above the vines as the Clare Showgrounds come alive, drawing a crowd from near and far for the twilight bull riding, bronc and barrel racing action.
Gates swing open at 4pm, with the action in the arena kicking off at 6.30pm. There’ll be bar facilities to keep you hydrated and plenty of food options on offer, but due to sketchy country mobile coverage, cash will be king!
The rodeo promises adrenaline-pumping action to keep spectators on the edge of their seats (you can take your own deck chairs), and when the dust settles Adelaide-based cover band Day Drive will take the stage for those wanting to kick on into the night.
Camping facilities are available from Friday through to Sunday, so you can check out the beautiful Clare Valley, enjoy the rodeo action, roll your swag out and front up for a recovery breakfast on Sunday morning.
Clare Rodeo is a volunteer-driven event backed by generous local sponsors, with all proceeds channeled back into various community organisations, capturing the true spirit of the region.
