Naracoorte Opens South Australia’s First RB Sellars Store
While some major Australian retailers are closing their doors, RB Sellars is doing the exact opposite- rolling up their quality cotton sleeves and heading to South Australia!
For nearly 30 years, the country outfitter has been part of the regional uniform – transitioning the working class from flannelette shirts to hard-wearing, smart-looking workwear.
And now the brand responsible for every farmer donning a half-button workshirt has officially set up shop at 99 Smith Street, Naracoorte.
The stylish new store has quality clothing for both work and play – and there’s something for the whole family. Of course, there’s the huge range of women’s, men’s and kids’ workshirts that have been well and truly put to the test over the years. You’ll also find an impressive Ariat boot range, bright pops of colour, plenty of checks, and all the classic pieces RB Sellars is known for.
The move marks the company’s first foray into South Australian storefront retail, employing five locals, as well as many contractors and builders involved in the store’s initial set up.
And it’s not all about shirts and jeans, it’s about fostering community connection. While online retail continues to grow, 76 percent of Australians still prefer to shop in-store for clothing – which is especially true in regional areas, where retail options are limited and real interactions matter.
“With agriculture and trade driving more than half of the local economy in Naracoorte, RB Sellars is moving in to meet its SA customers where they live and work,” a company spokesperson said.
“The region already embraces the brand’s durable and practical apparel as part of everyday life, and this move simply brings the brand closer to its community.”
