Prepare for Bush Chook madness in outback SA
Hold onto your hats, folks! The Great SA Emu Race is coming to Yunta and it’ll quite possibly be the weirdest and most wonderful thing you’ll see all year.
Set against the backdrop of the rugged outback, this unique racing event will feature the iconic Aussie Bush Chook (yes, emus) wobbling head-to-head at the Yunta Race Track. The iconic Aussie birds will be specially trained by local farmers, and be sporting custom-made racing kits knitted by the local CWA. The event promises to be a true test of speed, agility, and sheer bird-like determination.

But that’s not even the best bit– another iconic Aussie, Olympic breakdancer RayGun, will also make a guest appearance, performing her viral Paris routine, an artistic nod to the flightless speedster.
Grab your sunscreen, pack your swag and get ready for a day of quirky Aussie fun.
