The long-running and award-winning Golden North Laura Fair will attract thousands of guests to the Mid North in April, for a family-friendly weekend of free entertainment and good old fashioned county hospitality.
First held in 1980, the popular Laura Fair has grown into a key attraction for the region, providing substantial economic benefit for local businesses and acting as a leading fundraising avenue for many local community groups.
Situated beside the Rocky River and amongst the rolling hills of the Southern Flinders Ranges, the small town will come alive with a Street Parade by the local school, featuring vintage vehicles, local emergency services and floats entered by local businesses.
Over 100 stallholders will create a vibrant market atmosphere. There’ll be roaming buskers, two stages of live entertainment, sideshows, food vans, and plenty of the town’s famous solid gold, silky smooth, Golden North Ice Cream.
