They’re “doin’ it for the kids” at Port Pirie’s KIDtober
KIDtober has been lighting up Port Pirie since 2017, and it just keeps getting bigger and better each year! This month-long celebration is packed with activities for kids and families, making it a must-do.
Run by a passionate team of locals, KIDtober shines a light on all the fantastic resources and services available to families in the Port Pirie region. It’s all about community spirit, family fun, and celebrating the awesome activities in Port Pirie’s backyard.
And what a lineup! From dance parties and yoga to a Teddy Bear’s Picnic and nature play, there’s something to suit every interest. Older kids can have a crack at boxing, table tennis, gaming sessions and even a colour run. Plus, there’s free entry to the museum, a chance to meet Shakka the Shark, and a super handy guide to 50 free things to do around the region.
And the pièce de résistance? A visit from everyone’s favourite four-legged friends, Bluey and Bingo. So make sure to high-tail it to Little Beans Café on October 19 from 11am to 12noon to hang out with the world’s most lovable mutts.
