Mallala expected to double with 512 new homes – “nestled in farming heartland within a charming town”!

Construction has officially begun on a new $100 million housing development at Mallala. The project will deliver 512 new homes, accomodating more than 1000 residents in the Adelaide Plains farming town – almost doubling the current population. That’s a whole lot of drivers learning to negotiate the seven road intersection which feature’s the iconic Mallala monument!

Gracewood will include a $1.5 million community park, adventure playground, half basketball court, a fenced dog park, walking trails and fitness stations, with a proposed early learning centre also in the pipeline. Over 100 lots, ranging in size from 375 to 3489 square metres have already sold in the development which is expected to be completed over fire years.

Marketing for the new housing development focuses on the idyllic location – with Mallala joining the urban sprawl, less than 50 minutes from the heart of the city, and just a fifteen-minute drive from rapidly-expanding Two Wells.

Gracewood’s marketing has all the traits of some beautifully worded assisted technology –

“If you’re dreaming of a tree-change, Gracewood delivers. Nestled in farming heartland within a charming town, Gracewood is located just north of Adelaide, offering a haven for those ready to build an idyllic life, a large and spacious home with all the modern comforts, while embracing the unparalleled warmth of community living.”

Knowing our country towns, we might have gone for a more realistic approach to marketing –

“Location, location, location! Wake up in the country and be in the suburbs in less time than it takes to drink your morning coffee. Experience the best of both worlds in Mallala, a tight-knit farming community, where horsepower has a double meaning, and footy is a religion.”
