Macclesfield Strawberry Fete serves up 96 years of family fun

Step into the scrumptious world of Macclesfield Strawberry Fete

In its 96th year, the Macclesfield Strawberry Fete is a beloved annual extravaganza. There is something for the whole family to enjoy, from the inaugural Strawberry Trail to live agility dog demonstrations, sheep dog and shearing shows, and even face painting. You can dive into the strawberry-eating competitions, taste a range of food from the array of stalls, and find the perfect Christmas gifts.

Perhaps try your luck in the raffle with 27 amazing prizes to be won, including a $300 Longview Vineyard Gift Voucher. There will also be static displays, and live music playing to add to the festivities.

The brand-new addition to this year’s Strawberry Fete is the Strawberry Trail, arranged for 100 young Fete enthusiasts and their families.

To participate, simply register and grab one of the beautifully decorated $5 Strawberry Trail bags, crafted by the talented students of Macclesfield Primary School. Visit the ‘Strawberry Trail Registration Tent’ on the day between 9:30 am and 12 noon, get your form stamped, and collect goodies from the participating Strawberry Trail stalls.

Each Strawberry Trail bag, thanks to Beerenberg, comes with two jars of delicious strawberry jam and a packet of colored pencils, courtesy of Bunnings Warehouse. Complete the form and return it to the Strawberry Trail Registration Tent by 2:00 pm on the day to enter a draw for fantastic prizes, including family passes to Monarto Zoo, Cockle Train, Cleland Wildlife Park, Hahndorf Farm Barn, and a Game Lobby Card for gaming and food.
