Keith Show – Wild rides, big engines and full-throttle action

Melissa Smith

The wildest show in the South East returns with dirt, diesel, and destruction

If you think country shows are all about scones and blue-ribbon chooks, think again because Keith Show Revved Up is a country show on steroids.

This isn’t your average stroll around the pavilion. It’s dirt, diesel, and pure adrenaline, all packed into one massive day on Saturday, March 29.

At the heart of this adrenaline-soaked day of action is the DUMTPA Tractor Pull, and the Australian V8 Superboat Championships – two high-octane events guaranteed to shake the South East.

Strength meets speed at the tractor pull

When it comes to raw horsepower, nothing beats the DUMTPA Modified Tractor Pull. These aren’t your everyday paddock tractors – these beasts are built to haul insanely heavy loads down the track, belching smoke and roaring like thunder as they go. The Down Under Modified Tractor Pull Association (DUMTPA) is rolling in with nine classes of supercharged machines, from Mini Modifieds to the monstrous Pro-Stock Tractors.

Expect engines screaming, dirt flying, and sheer brute force as competitors push their machines to the limit in a battle of power and traction.

High-speed chaos on the water with V8 Superboats

It wouldn’t be Keith Show Revved Up without the Australian V8 Superboat Championships tearing up the Spitwater Arena. These jet-powered rockets on water hit 100km/h in under two seconds, with drivers throwing their boats sideways through hairpin turns at breakneck speed.

It’s precision racing chaos as the boats skim across the water like skipping stones. With some of the best drivers from Australia and New Zealand competing, expect plenty of spray, close calls, and white-knuckle action.

Four classes will hit the water, including the perfect mix of power and skill in the LS-Class, fast and furious 400 Class, all-out speed demons in Unlimited Superboats, plus watch the next generation of jet sprint legends in the Junior Development.

Machines go to war at the Diesel & Dirt Derby

There is a raft of other metal-mangling, dirt-churning events on show, where machines of all shapes and sizes go head-to-head in a series of absolute chaos-fuelled fun. Expect high-powered moto madness, demolition derby carnage, and enough smoke and fuel fumes to make your heart race.

And don’t miss the David Molineux Memorial Vintage Tractor Pull and Lawn Mower Pull, where vintage muscle meets backyard ingenuity in a battle of raw pulling power.

More than just metal mayhem

While the engines roar in the background, Keith Show Revved Up has plenty to keep the whole family entertained, with all the show favourites making a return.

Kids can run wild in Sideshow Alley and get up close with animals at the petting zoo, while foodies can enjoy local stalls, cooking demos, and celebrity chef Tony Ford. Be a part of the day by entering in the many competitions from cooking to photography.
The Speed Shear, Barrel Racing, and Farmers Challenge bring fast hands and fierce competition, while the Aerobatic Silver Sharks take the action to the skies. And on the ground, the Centurion tank is back to crush cars! Will the mayor take the wheel again in 2025?
