Witness giant projections, local art, and live painting at Karoonda

Karoonda, in the heart of South Australia’s Murray Mallee region, will celebrate art, food, and community spirit on Saturday, August 3 for “An Evening Under the Stars.”

This event is part of the 2024 South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival and will be a evening to remember.

The star of the night will be the “Think Big” SALA Exhibition. Artworks by 31 talented South Australian artists will be splashed across the giant canvas of the Karoonda Silos with a stunning projection display.

Art isn’t the only thing on the menu with guests being able to enjoy a scrumptious spread of all-you-can-eat wood-fired pizza, freshly prepared by Riverside Woodfired Pizza. Drinks from the bar will also be available for purchase.

As well as the projection display, a one-night-only pop-up art market will showcase the incredible talents of local artists where you might just find a special piece to take home.

The evening wouldn’t be complete without a live art performance. Watch renowned Gudjula and Girramay Woman, Kat Bell, bring her artistic vision to life with her painting demonstration.

Tickets are limited, so grab your family and friends, secure yours online, or visit the Council office at 11 Railway Terrace, Karoonda.
