The Heavy Horse Festival returns to Wirrina Cove Holiday Park for a second year

Don’t miss a unique celebration of heavy horses at this two-day festival on May 25 and 26, showcasing the beauty, power, and history of these incredible creatures.

There’ll be Clydesdales, Friesians, Gypsy Cobs, Shires, Drum Horses, Fjords, Haflingers, and even some partbreds. Witness them in led show classes, harness demonstrations, and cross-country jumping.

In addition to these gentle giants, there’ll be blacksmith demonstrations using traditional metalworking skills and an opportunity to step back in time with a display of horse-drawn vehicles, including a stunning authentic replica Gypsy Wagon.

Whether you’re a lifelong horse lover or simply looking for a fun-filled weekend, the Heavy Horse Festival won’t disappoint. Enjoy delicious food and drinks from on-site vendors, or bring your own picnic and relax in the beautiful park surroundings. Live entertainment throughout the weekend will add to the atmosphere and camping is available for those who want to make a whole weekend of it.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to see some of the most spectacular horse breeds in the world.
