If you’re planning on heading to Kapunda this weekend, for some family-friendly Rodeo action, make sure to get in quickly and grab your tickets, as the event is tipped to sell out before Saturday.
A crowd of 5000 converged on the Kapunda Harness Racing Club for the last Rodeo, and organisers say once this year’s tickets are gone, there is no option for capacity increases.
The twilight event officially kicks off at 3pm, with gates open from 1pm, and includes all the daredevil arena action, plus a kids zone, petting zoo, face painting and rides.
There will also be plenty of treats served up in the food department, including Gourmet Kranskys, Steak Sandwiches, Yiros, Squid, Hot Donuts, Strawberries and Cream, Soft Serve, Cool Cones, Liquorice, and more.
A fully licensed bar and EFTPOS facilities are available on site, as well as Rodeo merchandise, and the iconic Ringers Western Signature Bull truck will also be pulling in to help fit you out in your Rodeo gear.
Following the saddle action, Adelaide’s number one party cover band, Hill Valley, will provide entertainment into the night.
