Live Music and Summer fun at Port Vincent’s annual Gala Day celebration
Celebrate the New Year overlooking Gulf St Vincent, as the Port Vincent community throws another epic Gala Day full of family-friendly fun.
A great January 1st tradition on the Yorke Peninsula, Port Vincent’s famous foreshore transforms into a Summer haven of live music, delicious food, market stalls and sideshows.
Fun for all ages, the kids can enjoy plenty of free entertainment, from face-painting to sandcastle comps and a plaster funhouse where they can craft their own souvenir to mark the occasion.
There’ll be bouncy castles and rides for thrill-seekers and you could have the thrill of pocketing $1000 cash in the Port Vincent Progress Association Raffle.
On the main stage there’ll be music to set the mood, as gala goers stroll the street, soak up the sun, relax on the foreshore and enjoy the vibrant party vibe.
A highlight again will be the amazing Silver Sharks Aerobatics Show, with skilled pilots taking to the skies over the bay with some jaw dropping loops, rolls and formation flying. And all eyes will be on the sky again when night falls, with the joy of gala day culminating in a spectacular Ignite the Night Fireworks display.
