Recognising the best across SA’s grain industry
South Australia’s grain industry might be a “quiet achiever,” but it’s a powerhouse, contributing billions to the State’s economy every year and keeping tens of thousands of people employed on farms, in regional communities, and across the supply chain.
Despite its massive impact, the industry has never really had a chance to celebrate its achievements or the incredible people behind them.
That’s all about to change with the first-ever South Australian Grain Industry Awards. These awards shine a spotlight on excellence, leadership, and innovation in the grains sector. Winners across six categories will be revealed at the Gala Dinner on February 4, 2025, at Adelaide Oval, along with the announcement of the very first inductees into the South Australian Grain Industry Hall of Fame.
Grain Producers SA (GPSA) Chief Executive Officer Brad Perry said the quality and diversity of finalists reflect the strength and resilience of South Australia’s grain industry. “Our esteemed judging panel was presented with an impressive field of entrants whose passion and dedication shine through their work,” Mr. Perry said.
“The finalists represent the very best of our grain industry, from seasoned leaders and innovators to emerging talent who are shaping the future of the state’s grain sector.”
