“POP in for Xmas” at Mallala Market

In its fifth year, the popular Mallala Christmas Market being held this weekend, Sunday 26th November has a tonne of stall holders sharing their wares, including some returning favourites. Urban Magpie’s delicious condiments, the brand new SALT German Bakehouse cooking up a European storm, Christmas Treats from “More Than Just Nuts” and Jo’s Chocolates are just a few things available to tantalise your taste buds. There will also be live music, homewares, skincare, hats and handbags; plants, candles and crafts galore!

But Mallala’s festive cheer doesn’t stop there,  the Mallala Lions Christmas Party will take place on Sunday, December 17 at the Mallala Oval.
From 3pm til 8pm the town will be abuzz with Christmas cheer. A “street parade”, rides for the kids and the brave, food stalls, market stalls, an animal farm and a classic car display will be there to help celebrate the festive season.

For something a little bit naughty and a little bit funny, why not head to ex-local, Josh Warrior’s Christmas Show at the Mallala Institute on December 16. After a 40-year hiatus, Gawler’s Festive Christmas Parade is back!
