Pic – Anlaby Station

Step back in time and celebrate 185 years of  South Australia’s oldest Merino Stud, with a Spring Festival like no other.
The gates to Anlaby Station, at Hamilton, north of Kapunda, will be open to the public on October 19 and 20, showcasing the property’s grandeur and exquisite Victorian-Edwardian gardens at the Great Anlaby Garden Party.
As well as all the bells and whistles of a grand garden party, like delicious food and wine, live music and family-friendly activities, guests can wander the ten-acre property, taking in the timeless charm of the historic estate.
Guided tours will run regularly across the weekend, giving an incredible insight into Anlaby’s rich heritage. Another highlight of the festival will be the official opening of a new oriental-inspired garden, and the restoration of the historic conservatory’s stone walls.
