Courtney creates the ultimate bridal experience for “every bride”

Brides-to-be no longer have to drag their gals all over the city trying to find the perfect gown for their big day. And what better place for a day of pampering and fun, than the beautiful Barossa Valley.

The brand new Barossa Bridal boutique is one of the very few places in country South Australia, where you can say yes to your dress.

With an inclusive range of gowns to try on as your ladies in waiting sit on the comfy couch and critique, just like they do in the movies, Courtney Bastian has created the ultimate bridal experience, and her newly opened business in Nuriootpa is receiving rave reviews.

After realising a need to unleash her own creativity, and having experienced the anguish of finding the perfect bridal gown herself, Courtney opened the doors to Barossa Bridal in August, and is loving every minute of being part of the important process of making brides-t0-be look and feel amazing.

“Every bride deserves to feel like a queen on their wedding day.”

And by every bride, Courtney means EVERY bride! “Our collection of Tania Olsen, It’s So Me and MASAL dresses complement any modern, elegant, boho, rustic or beach wedding. We have plus-sizes for our beautiful curvy brides and bridal consultants to help find the dress that suits the bride’s vision and body perfectly.”

But just to be sure she’s covering all bases, Courtney is in the planning stages of releasing her own bridal range, taking on every piece of customer feedback to produce stunning gowns, aimed to please.

“I’ve been listening to what the women are saying. Many don’t like the thin straps, so I’m incorporating wider straps into my designs. Plunging V necks aren’t for everyone, so my range will address that problem too.”

Gone are the days of a bridal store only having whites and ivory on the racks. Courtney said many shoppers are drawn to hot pink dress she has on the racks, as well as a nude pink, and soon there’ll be a range of black gowns available in-store. As for her own designs, she’s working on a dress in a natural brown tone, perfect for a rustic country wedding.

The range at Barossa Bridal was handpicked by Courtney at the Sydney Wedding Expo earlier this year and includes a variety of  everything from budget-friendly dresses that are simple and on-trend to high class, elegant beaded gowns.

The light-bulb moment to open her own bridal business came about while Courtney was on maternity leave, contemplating what she really wanted to do with her life and yearning to unleash and express her creativity. Now Mum to nine-month-old Caleb, she says the flexibility of owning her own business and the joy she gets from seeing women fall in love with their dream wedding dress gives here the ultimate fulfilment.

“The great thing about being in business in the Barossa is that everyone supports everyone, no matter what industry you’re in,” she said.

The Barossa Bridal boutique is located inside the Provenance building, on Tanunda Road at Nuriootpa, and you can find all the details right here.
