Off-Grid Luxury Comes to Historic Adelaide Hills
Nine new eco-friendly cabins are coming to The Cedars, a historic destination in the Adelaide Hills. Less than 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, South Australia’s leading sustainable accommodation operator CABN will be offering luxurious off-grid accommodation enticing visitors from all over to linger longer in the Adelaide Hills.
The CABNs will be situated on 30 acres of land, allowing guests to explore the famous Heysen family homestead and Australia’s oldest remaining public art studio.
“CABN Hahndorf stays allow true immersion into the property, a sprawling picturesque landscape inspiring both Hans Heysen and daughter Nora’s artwork,” says Michael Lamprell, CEO of CABN.
Guests can truly disconnect and reconnect with nature, just like the Heysen family did while creating their masterpieces.
Sustainable Luxury in a Picturesque Setting
Opening in August, the eight CABNs and one CABN X will accommodate up to 26 guests per night. Each cabin is solar-powered and features outdoor seating with fire pits, making for a cosy and sustainable stay.
“It is wonderful to see South Australia’s own CABN open in one of our most historic and iconic tourism destinations,” says Minister for Tourism, Zoe Bettison.
This new development is a great addition to the Adelaide Hills’ cultural offerings, providing visitors with a unique way to experience the region.
The completion of The Cedars in August will bring CABN’s total offerings to 39 cabins across South Australia. Other locations include Seppeltsfield in the Barossa, McLaren Flat in the Fleurieu Peninsula, and Cape St Albans on Kangaroo Island.
The development comes as the South Australian Tourism Commission’s ‘Winter. Our Way.’ campaign is helping drive domestic visitation across the state. CABN Kuitpo Forest in the Fleurieu Peninsula has been the most clicked deal so far and is one of more than 180 deals and offers available across the state.
