Strut to the Outback for One Final, Fabulous Fling
Hold onto your wigs and clutch those pearls, because the Broken Heel Festival is strutting into its grand finale! Yes, darlings, the desert’s most dazzling drag show is celebrating its 30th—and final—birthday.
For three decades, Broken Hill has been transformed into “Broken Heel” – an outback oasis of drag, disco, and divine divas. Born from the fabulous flick Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the festival has been a haven for queens, queers, and anyone with a penchant for all things fabulous.
This year’s festival, a five-day feast of disco, drag and divas from September 5-9, will be the ultimate send-off. With drag queens sashaying in from all over the nation, live music, comedy, cabaret, and more sparkle than you can shake a glitter gun at it’s an outback feast for the senses.
Where: The Palace Hotel, 227 Argent Street, Broken Hill
When: September 5-9
