Vaughan Terrace in Berri will come alive on Sunday October 22 with a free event, brought to you by the Berri Barmera Council. With acoustic music, food and drink vans, unique market stalls, face painting, giant lawn games, and eco-friendly displays and activities, this family friendly event is the place to be as the sun goes down.
A first for Berri, the Fiesta promises something for everyone. Enjoy live music by local talents The Bowerbirds and emerging artist William Heuzenroeder, while chowing down on some delicious food and drinks. Meander through the market stalls under Berri’s Main St Jacaranda trees while shopping locally handmade products, and enjoy eco-focused activities with giveaways and displays.
With an emphasis on the environment, join in on some Eco Activities.
RECYCLE and reduce landfill waste by swapping up to two illegal opera house-style yabby nets for wildlife-friendly ones. This initiative, supported by RecFish SA and the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board, is available for Berri Barmera Council ratepayers.
REUSE and declutter your wardrobe turning your preloved fashions into cold hard cash at the Suitcase Preloved Fashion Sale in the Berri Community Pavilion. Register here to have a suitcase space to sell your once loved clothing. For the buyers, it’s all about sustainable shopping and bagging yourself a bargain, while doing the environment a favour and keeping fast fashion out of landfill.
REPURPOSE and pot a succulent. You can choose from the Council’s recycled pots and succulent cuttings to plant and decorate a potted plant using sustainable soil. Pots, succulents, and soil will be provided free of charge!

There will also be $5 hair braiding by Kymm from Kymm’s Mobile Hairdressing, free face painting by Berri Regional Secondary College, and Council’s giant lawn games for everyone to enjoy.
The Twilight Fiesta is an official event of the Riverland Rose and Garden Festival, welcoming visitors, festival enthusiasts, and the local community.
