Get ready for a barrel of fun as the Barossa Valley bursts into bloom this weekend for Barossa Spring Fair! Nestled amidst the region’s finest wineries, Angaston is the place to be on Saturday, September 16th, with close to 100 spring-themed stalls, a fusion of food trucks, entertainment and loads of fun for the kids.
The weather forecast is pointing to perfect Spring Fair conditions at Barossa Adventure Station at the old Angaston Railway Station. The Adventure Station is a premium nature play space, specially designed to integrate heritage, with a fully restored rail turntable, crane and 113 year old station building. It boasts a one kilometre mountain bike trail, zip-line, accessible trampolines, bespoke tower and slides, skate ramps, bouldering wall, half court basketball, sensory sound forest poles and serene picnic spaces.
From 10am, the Station will be full steam ahead, with plant and flower stalls bursting with pops of Spring colour, face-painters, a bouncy castle and live music.
Entry to the family-friendly day is free – you can take your pet pooch, lay out a picnic blanket and set up for a glorious day of sunshine and fun.
