Learn the ropes on the ‘One And All’

Port Lincoln is in for a treat as The One and All sails into the coastal town for a two day visit from January 26 to 28.

This iconic ship pays homage to the 1850s brigantine rig, boasting an impressive length overall of 42.68m, 12 sails, and a towering main mast standing at 27.00m. Built in 1987 by W.G. Porter & Son Pty Ltd in North Haven, it was crafted with the helping hands of passionate volunteers.

Now it’s your chance to step aboard this unique maritime experience and discover the allure of yesteryear’s sailing history. The STV ‘One And All’ offers a host of events throughout the year, inviting keen sailor’s to participate in Open Days, Event Exhibitions, Day Sails, and Voyages.

While in Port Lincoln, there’s opportunities for locals and visitors to jump aboard for some maritime fun!

A hit for the whole family is the Port Lincoln Pirate Open Ship. The perfect chance to wander the decks, have your picture taken at the ship’s helm, and delve into the galley and saloon. This handcrafted vessel shares tales of bygone sail transport and life on board, providing a living and working experience. Open Day attendees are able to get an insight into sailing history, and if you’re up for it, you can dress the part too and embrace your inner pirate!

The Sunset Cruise, offers a relaxed evening with friends, sailing the seas. While aboard, you can sink into the maritime experience by setting sails, taking the helm with the Captain, or maybe lounging in the bow nets would suit your style. For the adventurous there’s even a chance to have a go at climbing the rigging for an added thrill. The cruise includes a delicious gourmet platter box, with tea, coffee, and cold drinks in the ticket price. Bar service is available too.

For daytime sailors, the Afternoon Tea Cruise is the perfect ticket. Take part in setting sails, helm the wheel alongside the Captain, or simply relax and absorb the maritime bliss while devouring a scrumptious afternoon tea during this unique sailing experience.

Accessing the ship is by gangway and ladder and it’s best to dress according to the weather.
