Jamestown’s Kelly Morgan Lands Top Agribusiness Honour
There’s plenty to celebrate at Kelly Kelly Legal, with Principal Solicitor Kelly Morgan recognised in the 2026 Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Agribusiness Lawyer in South Australia.
It comes not long after she was named Best Regional Lawyer by the Law Society of South Australia, and it’s a moment the whole team can celebrate.
And for the record – Kelly Kelly is her actual name. That’s what happens when you fall in love with a Kelly lad from Jamestown!
Where It All Started
Born and raised in the Mid North, Kelly grew up on a farm near Yongala before heading off to study law.
She’s described herself as an “accidental lawyer”, with early plans pointing in other directions, until family circumstances brought her back home to the region.
That return to the country shaped everything that came next.
Kelly went on to spend a decade working in a local Jamestown firm before backing herself and opening Kelly Kelly Legal in 2014, building something that has grown steadily ever since.
Today, the firm has grown into one of the largest regional practices in the state, with a team that spans solicitors, conveyancing and support staff, all working out of Jamestown but supporting clients right across regional South Australia.
When Farms And Family Overlap
At its core, Kelly Kelly Legal is all about giving practical, straight-up advice to people whose lives don’t fit neatly into legal boxes, where farms, families and businesses are all tied together.
From succession planning and property to wills, disputes and family law, they’re in the thick of the decisions that shape families and farms.
Kelly’s recognition reflects the trust she’s built over time, but also the culture she’s created – one that backs regional clients, supports young lawyers to work in the country, and stays connected to the community it serves.
For a firm based in Jamestown, it’s a very proud moment. And for the people they support, there’s comfort in knowing the advice comes from locals who understand how country life really works.
