Soak up spring at one of South Australia’s most beautiful country gardens

The roses are blooming, the gates are open, and The Heritage Garden at Sevenhill is ready to welcome visitors for a relaxed day among the flowers on Sunday, November 2, from 10am to 4pm.

Created by the late Walter Duncan, one of Australia’s most respected rosarians, the garden remains a living tribute to his love of blooms and beauty. His wife Kay continues to nurture the property, ensuring it retains the warmth and charm Walter became known for.

On the day, folk group Tamarisque will fill the air with tunes, setting the perfect backdrop for a garden stroll. With food, wine, and market stalls dotted throughout the grounds, it’s an easy way to spend a spring day in the Clare Valley.

Tickets are $10, with all proceeds supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Open Gardens SA.

And for those who enjoy a creative touch, the garden’s new embroidery kits, The Heritage Garden Archway and The Hollyhocks, will be on sale and online, ready to stitch a little piece of the garden into your home.
