Carrick Hill Will Light Up After Dark With A New Winter Experience

Carrick Hill is set to put on quite a show this winter, with the much-loved property transforming into a spectacular nighttime experience throughout the July school holidays.

From July 9 to 26, visitors will be able to wander through illuminated gardens, watch colourful projections shine across the walls of the historic home, all while soaking up the atmosphere with a mulled wine or bite to eat from Rozelle’s, Carrick Hill’s on-site restaurant.

The light displays are inspired by the work of British designer William Morris, whose nature-themed patterns featuring flowers, birds and vines will come to life across the house and grounds.

Carrick Hill Director Heather Croall said the event would give people the chance to experience the estate in a completely different way.

“William Morris Winter Wonderland at Carrick Hill will offer visitors an entirely new way to experience this extraordinary place.”

Those looking to make a night of it can also book dinner at Rozelle’s, with Carrick Hill’s hilltop location offering spectacular views across Adelaide after dark.

Tickets start from $18, making it an easy option for a winter night out, a school holiday outing or an excuse to gather a few friends and head for the hills.
