A free drop-in event offers Mid North business owners a chance to access advice, build connections, and plan for the future

The event is part of the Business-to-Business (B2B) Drought Program, which provides free one-on-one mentoring for regional businesses recovering from tough conditions. The program helps with everything from managing finances and finding new markets to planning for growth and building resilience.
RDA Yorke and Mid North CEO Daniel Willson said the expo is about giving business owners a chance to look up from the day-to-day grind.
“Local businesses work in their business every day. This expo gives them a chance to step back, learn what support is out there, and set themselves up for success,” he said.

Meet the people helping Mid North businesses thrive
Acting CEO for the District Council of Peterborough, Kristen Clark, said it’s a good time for local operators to reconnect and reset.
“In what is a challenging time for the District Council of Peterborough, there are also opportunities. This is an event that will assist businesses to look at their operations, consider new ways of doing business and explore support options. I encourage all businesses in Peterborough to take the time to attend and take up the offers of support. It is a walk-in opportunity, no need to book and you can come in anytime during the event.”
